“Somehow it’s no surprise that I’m working in a first aid environment. I remember as a young girl riding my bike to the pharmacy and purchasing first aid supplies. The pharmacist gave me a green first aid sticker, which I took home and stuck on to an ice-cream container. This container lasted well into married life. When I bought my first car I soon went and purchased a vehicle first aid kit.
Over the time that I have been involved with Kits + Bits the best part of the role has been forming relationships through re-visiting sites and hearing ‘first aid’ stories. It’s a warm fuzzy to know that what I’m doing is worthwhile.
